Easter baskets are one of my favorite things to create! The possibilities are endless. Winter is ending, spring has begun, and summer is right around the corner.
Every year it seems like my baskets are the same old things…movies, chalk and clothes. This year I wanted to find unique items that my kids would enjoy, and I would equally love.
I’m so over all the toys! It feels like we have an abundance of toys, yet my kids only really play with a handful of them. I don’t want to add another toy into the mix that’s looked at with excitement for a minute then thrown across the room for the next best thing. I want to find things that fit a very strict criteria this year:
- It sparks imagination, creativity and something I can enjoy with them
- Something that can be used time and time again
- Something unique that no one else would think to give them
- Preferably something from a small business
When I check the web there’s endless opportunities for girls, however I found that not to be the case when it came to boys. I’ve created a list each for boys and girls, however many of the items can be used for both. I love the uniqueness of each item and can first hand tell you how great some of the products are.
