I love cobb salad and I love Steak so I decided to create a salad mixing those two worlds. Every cobb I’ve ever had has chicken. I do like a good chicken, but I’m trying to incorporate more beef into my life due to an iron deficiency.
My big problem with the traditional cobb salad are eggs, because I’m sorry but eggs don’t belong on a salad, and the use of iceberg lettuce. Iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value whatsoever, it’s like eating water in solid form. I feel like the purpose of eating a salad is lost when consuming iceberg. I wanted to incorporate a better lettuce choice which my body can benefit from and also create the elements I oh so love about the traditional cobb salad.
Steak Cobb

-Cucumber

-Radishes
-Bacon
-Steak
-Blue Cheese Crumbles
-Dressing (I prefer Brianna’s Honey Mustard or my Homemade Chipotle Ranch)
I simply seasoned the steak with sea salt and pepper and grilled to my liking.
