Shopping for Mother’s Day is always hard for me. Trying to find something for the moms in my life is daunting. I couldn’t imagine how the men in our lives feel.
Mother’s day for me since the year my first born arrived have been memorable, but not in a good way. My husband managed to get me a couple outfits I love my first year, but went downhill fast after that. One year I got a hairdryer. No, it wasn’t a fancy gold hairdryer that promises to keep your hair healthy and shiny, it was an everyday pick up from Target hairdryer. I’m not saying this to throw my husband under the bus but to tell you about the struggles he has with finding a good mother’s day gift.
Mother’s day is right around the corner and I started wondering what I would get this year. I wanted to send him a list of ideas but realized it’s not just him that struggles with finding a good gift. I myself struggle with that as well. So, I’ve created a list of items any mother would love. They could be someone that isn’t stylish, that person who has everything, or even someone who is very particular. I love every single one of these items for so many reasons and I know they will as well.
I chose these two items because Joanna + food + Magnolia = Perfection. I don’t know anyone who said they didn’t like Joanna so enough said. The flower clear box from Mon Amour is so delightful. It’s gorgeous and the colors are custom to your preference. Every women could use a box whether for makeup, jewelry, cards and keepsakes, and more. Why buy flowers that will die within a week when you can give flowers that will live for over a year.
Every woman carries a bag of some sort. Since having kids I’ve always carried around a diaper bag which inadvertently doubles as my purse. I told my husband recently I think it’s time to switch to a backpack since our kids are no longer babies. I’d have no problem wearing this backpack and saying bye to my purse. It comes in several different colors and best part is right now Macy’s is having a huge sale on them with code “FRIEND”.
Jewelry is always a good choice. I’ve fallen in love with the stacked bar necklaces over the past few months but then I was introduced to these cute stacked rings. I l love that along with the bar necklaces you can engrave the rings with your kids names, dates, sayings, and so on. I also love that you can mix and match finishes with the rings to add dimension into your daily wardrobe.
Make sure and check out the Naked Palette as well which comes in 3 different color palettes, all of them great for any skin type. Right now they are also on sale at Macy’s with the same coupon code as above. Every women loves a great palette and this one is sure to please.
I’ve linked all the products below. Happy Mother’s Day gift hunting!
Sincerely,
Jackie
